IRELAND ON TOP IN HOLLAND
The best ever B'Meer! you will hear this sentence for a weeks to come! this year the team was composed by 11 sailors I was coaching on my own, and if most of the top Irish sailors as usual were not part of the team, Sean Donnelly was once more present with the clear objective of making damage in the 222 sailors field. 11 countries were represented. The weather was superb and provided 8 fair races in 5-12 kts of wind. In the wake of Sean two 2nd, the team was on fire straight away with several top 10 scored already on day one. This just simply set the team for a great event. 28 top 10, a race win, two sailors in the top 5 overall, 9 ISA criteria and BEST COUNTRY! Quick explanation about best country: it is a ranking including all sailors of a participating nation and averaging their position. the best sore overall wins! We took the title ahead of Belgium and Great Britain. 4th Sean Donnelly , 2 / 2 / 4 / 2/ 53 / 4 / 8 / 26 |
