Topper Coaching
Topper sailing is a great alternative to young sailors outgrowing the optimist at a younger age (12-15). Ireland has a vibrant racing circuit and a junior national squad coached by Barry McCartin. From 2006 to 2008 I was heading the squad and supported our best potential at the worlds. Laser Coaching
Laser is probably my first love in sailing! hard going, simple and complexe at the same time, it is the class you will find anywhere in the world. I sailed the boat very competitively and truly started my coaching carreer with the laser. eventhough I dont actively coach national teams anymore, I still get involved in the 4.7 squad and run open clinics. on these link you will find a few reports of interest.

420 Coaching
Double handler are a natural progression for a young sailor in developping new skills especially for small sailors who wont be able to reach the optimum "laser size". As a 470 sailor ( on the come back!)I always had an interest in the 420. I mainly act as an advisor to young sailors mooving into the class and run transition training sessions. Adult Coaching
I also organise Adult/master clinics or weekend upon demand. As a guideline, an ideal session is comnposed by 5 to 8 boats. I adjust the session to the level and the aspiration of the group. please dont hesitate to email me for further details. |
